Ruthin.

Hello! Sorry this post is a bit late, I was so exhausted after having such a long day yesterday. I just fell asleep once I got in.

Yesterday, we went to Ruthin. It's about an hour and a half away from where we're staying, so it was definitely a lot of driving. Ruthin's pretty small, but they have a few interesting things...like a really ancient jail. I'll post pictures of that once I pick out the good ones from the blurry ones, which will probably happen this afternoon.

The Cantorion held a small concert at Ruthin's craft centre, which turned out beautifully. Here's the Cantorion, hard at work:

We held a concert with Cor Ruthun (Ruthin Choir) at 7:30 in Ruthin's church. It was a fundraiser for Haiti. A lot of people showed up, so I think we all ended up raising a good bit of money to donate. As usual, this choir was fantastic. Two people from Cor Ruthun performed as soloists and they were really really good. We also got some very positive responses, so I think we're doing well. :)

Today, we're going to The National Slate Museum at Llanberis. The people who run the place have kindly offered to give us a personal tour and provide lunch for us. We'll probably sing a few songs for them as a small thank-you.
Then, at 7:30, we have a concert with Cor Penryn in Llanfairfelchan. This is going to be the most formal concert we've had. It's also our last one. Jim keeps emphasizing how great this choir is. We definitely believe him and look forward to finding out for ourselves. Of course, this probably will make us a little nervous, but I'm sure we'll be fine.
