Apologies!

Sorry about the lack of updates -- I'm having issues finding a converter for the plugs here. Mine was apparently the wrong one. Once I can recharge the computer, I'll give a full update.

In short:
Arrived yesterday, went to Chester and Conwy, saw some amazing castles and historical sites. The Plas Menai (where we're staying) is lovely.
Today -- went into Caernarfon, played a concert at a hotel in Amlwch.

Zero hour is upon us.

And I've just barely finished packing. Wooo!

I managed to stuff my essentials into a one-quart Ziploc bag...after much struggling.

And I managed to stuff all my clothes and non-carry-on-friendly essentials into my now bulging suitcase...

And I cannot allow myself to forget my two carry-on essentials: a Nintendo DS equipped with Pokemon Platinum, and a book by my favourite author. (Click here for his website!)

It's 3:30AM now...sheesh. I should sleep, but I'm too excited. I promise these blog posts will get more interesting once we're actually on the trip. I just need to tell someone about how hyped I am, and who better than the people reading this blog?

We board the bus for Newark at 2:00PM.

Our flight leaves the Newark airport at 10:55, I believe. Maybe earlier. I can't remember.

Introductions and such!

Hello readers! My name is Megan. I'm eighteen years old and a freshman at Green Mountain College. Our choir is going to Wales from March 7th to March 14th 2010! I'll be updating you all on our lovely trip.

This is me:

I have been very excited for this trip for a long time, and I'm in the process of frantically getting all my stuff together. As you can see, I've made great progress packing:

There's not a whole lot to say today. It's a day that's simultaneously full of rest and rushing around. There's a spaghetti dinner later tonight, though, so I'll post about that later.
